Rose State College Earns Top Rankings In Education Published June 27, 2023

The Journal Record has recognized Rose State College (Rose State) as top-ranked in two categories in its 2023 Reader Rankings. Rose State was named for having the Best Undergraduate Program and the Best Paralegal Program in the state. 

Notably, Rose State surpassed renowned institutions such as Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma to claim the honor of Best Undergraduate Program. Demonstrating exceptional achievements, Rose State was the only community college to receive top rankings for the second consecutive year. 

“We are honored to receive the rankings of Best Undergraduate Program and Best Paralegal Program in Oklahoma by The Journal Record’s 2023 Reader Rankings,” Rose State President Dr. Jeanie Webb said. “This recognition highlights our exceptional faculty and continued commitment to our students in providing educational programs that lead to their future success.”

Each year, readers of The Journal Record vote for top businesses and organizations in various categories, including education, entertainment and general business. Honorees are selected via a nomination and voting process by the readers and subscribers of The Journal Record. The awards were presented to Rose State College at the Reader Ranking Awards reception on Thursday, June 22. 

Rose State offers more than 60 associate undergraduate degree programs designed for students to graduate and go to work in two years or easily transfer to a four-year college or university. The college’s two-year paralegal studies program prepares students for employment as legal assistants or paralegals and offers classes in a FLEX format allowing students the choice to attend classes in-person or online. 

Rose State was also recently recognized as one of Oklahoma’s best online community colleges in a study conducted by OnlineU.

Dr. Webb
