Atkinson Heritage Center

Overview

The Atkinson Heritage Center may be rented for meetings, reunions and parties. This beautiful urban acreage, located at N.E. 10th and Midwest Blvd. in Midwest City, was the family home of W.P. “Bill” Atkinson (1906-1999) — Midwest City’s founder and developer, gubernatorial candidate, newspaper publisher, and community activist.

The center is now preserved as a historic home and community event center. Admission is free and the center is open for tours at no cost. Hours are by appointment.

The conference room inside the home may be rented for meetings. In order to preserve the main home as a historic property, it cannot used for gatherings but may be rented for photographic sessions by request.  The pony barn conference room and stall area may be rented for meetings, reunions and parties.
