Rose State Transitions to Online Classes to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 Published March 12, 2020

As a precautionary and protective measure, Rose State College in-person, face-to-face classes will NOT be held March 23 through March 27.  

• The college will not hold traditional on-site classes during the week of March 23-27.
• Faculty and staff will use the week to continue preparation for remote, on-line course delivery, in the event it is needed.
• Courses that are already online will NOT be disrupted by this transition.
• Online instruction for all students will begin March 30 through April 3 if needed.

To be clear, there are currently no cases of COVID-19 at Rose State College. If needed, Rose State will transition to an online learning environment beginning March 30. 

Rose State campus classes will not meet in person, however the College will remain open. Faculty and staff are to report to campus the week following spring break to communicate with students regarding course delivery options as needed. 

The Rose State College Wellness & Aquatic Centers will be closed effective March 15 through Monday, April 6 at 6:00 a.m. All activity classes are suspended until further notice. Banquets and gatherings in the Wellness & Aquatic Centers will not be held during this time. 

Classes at the Rose State Community Learning Center are cancelled from March 23 through April 3.
