Each year, the Oklahoma City Black Chamber of Commerce presents the Spotlight Award to an organization or individual who is dedicated to investing in the community. Recipients of the award embody the spirit of giving to Black and minority-owned businesses through contributions, leadership and resources.
“Our campus is committed to investing in underrepresented communities in our state,” Rose State President Dr. Jeanie Webb said. “Rose State has a long history of partnering with the Oklahoma City Black Chamber of Commerce and many of our alumni go on to open or work for Black-owned businesses across central Oklahoma.”
The Oklahoma Black Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to empower Black and minority-owned businesses and economic interests across central Oklahoma by sharing resources, building relationships and advocating for equal opportunity and equitable outcomes.
