Tutoring Center

Overview

The Tutoring Center provides free tutoring services to all Rose State College students. Tutoring is available for many of the required general-education courses, with special emphasis given to the English Composition, History, Political Science, Science, and Mathematics courses required for any degree that many students struggle with. Additional support for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) courses is also available on a drop-in basis in the STEM Lab, which is located in LRC 250B (within the Tutoring Center).

The Tutoring Center is located on the second floor of the Learning Resources Center, Room 250 (see campus map, building 5).

Note that because of tutor shortages, one-on-one tutoring for high school students is not available at this time. High school students may use the STEM Lab on a drop-in basis to receive Lab support for STEM subjects. Students or their parents or guardians may call the Tutoring Center for more information.
