Tutoring Center

Rose State College provides free tutoring services to all Rose State College students, as well as area high-school students, through its Tutoring Center.

The Tutoring Center is located on the second floor of the Learning Resources Center, Room 250 (see campus map, building 5).

During the Fall 2017 semester, the Tutoring Center will be open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 PM until 5:00 PM, and Sunday from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

The tutoring schedule for Fall 2017 is now open for students to begin making appointments. Students will not need to create new accounts for the online scheduling system; simply sign in with the e-mail address and password you created previously. Due to tutor shortages, tutoring for high school students is not available at this time. High school students or their parents or guardians may contact the Tutoring Center by phone for more information.

Tutoring is available for many of the required general-education courses, with special emphasis given to the English Composition, History, Political Science, Science, and Mathematics courses required for any degree that many students struggle with.

Additional support for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) courses is also available on a drop-in basis in the STEM Lab, which is located in Room 250B in the LRC (within the Tutoring Center)./span>
