Two students sitting in the union smiling and studying.Rose State College is offering a way for students in high school and college to get ahead in their degree path by offering summer courses that are easily transferable to colleges and universities all around the state. From basic courses like English Comp 1 and American Federal Government to higher-level courses like Managerial Accounting and Calculus 2, there’s something for everyone regardless of where you’re at on your education journey.

Often students from other universities in the metro come to Rose to take summer courses that may not fit in with their fall or spring semester schedules and save money in the process. Many universities, like OU, offer resources that help point students in the right direction and show them exactly what classes will transfer over. The small class sizes at Rose make it the perfect time to take the classes where you would like more access to ask your professor questions. On average, 3,400 students take summer classes at Rose State College. In the summer of 2021, over 1,300 of the students who took course work at Rose State had transferred credit from over 270 different universities and colleges.

With a 4-week option and an 8-week option, students can take courses at a fraction of the price, all while working ahead on their degree. The best part? You don’t have to be a full-time Rose State student to take advantage of this opportunity. With an application process that takes less than 5 minutes to complete, automatic acceptance, and advisors willing and ready to help, Rose State makes it easy. With a mix of in-person and online options, there truly is something for everyone that meets any needs you may have.
