Radiologic Technology Program

Clinicals

Student clinical rotations are held in the radiology departments of several metropolitan hospitals and clinics. These include, but are not limited to, Integris Baptist Medical Center, Mercy Health Systems, Midwest Regional Medical Center, OU Medical Center, Saint Anthony Hospital, Integris Southwest Medical Center, and Norman Regional Medical Center.

Students will be assigned to various clinical educational sites throughout the program. The student is responsible for transportation to and from all clinical rotations. Some clinical sites will require the student to pay parking fees. These fees are the responsibility of the student.

Fall and spring semester clinicals are scheduled for two and three days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with 30 minutes for lunch. Summer semester clinicals are scheduled for 2 or 3 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Students are required to adhere to their clinical schedules and to strict dress code policies set by the institutions and the college while in their assignments.
