Eligibility to Work

Employers are required to complete an Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9 PDF) in accordance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. Upon acceptance of a job offer, Rose State College employees must report to the Office of Human Resources to complete and sign Section 1 of Form I-9 no later than the first day of employment. Individuals must also present documents that establish identity and employment authorization as detailed in the Lists of Acceptable Documents (PDF).

Individuals must present one (1) selection from List A or a combination of one (1) selection from List B and one (1) selection from List C (see Lists of Acceptable Documents). The documents provided must be original with no signs of alteration or tampering.

Employers or their authorized representative must complete Section 2 of Form I-9 by examining evidence of identity and employment authorization within three (3) business days of the employee’s first day of employment.
