If you are a current RSC student:

Summer aid is awarded separately from fall and spring semesters. Awards are determined by the classes you are registered for and any aid you may have remaining from the academic year.

The RSC Financial Aid Office will review your eligibility for summer aid after you have enrolled. You do not need to contact the RSC Financial Aid of your enrollment. Our office uses an automatic system to identify your summer enrollment.

You should check your 2024 AID YEAR “TO DO” list and “MESSAGE CENTER” by logging into OASIS to ensure all items requested by the financial aid office have been completed. You will receive a Financial Aid Notification in your message center if you are eligible for summer financial aid.

Academic Progress

If you are currently on Financial Aid Warning, a Financial Aid Academic Plan or Financial Aid Probation for the spring 2024 semester, the RSC Financial Aid Office will determine your financial aid eligibility for summer 2024 aid after all spring grades have been posted by the RSC Admissions Office.

If you are a new or transfer student:

New students or students that are transferring from other institutions will be reviewed for summer aid after the RSC Financial Aid Office receives your 2023-2024 FAFSA application.

If you are a transfer student, you must submit all official academic transcripts to the RSC Admissions Office before your federal aid eligibility can be determined.

You should check your 2024 AID YEAR “TO DO” list and “MESSAGE CENTER” by logging into OASIS to ensure all items requested by the financial aid office have been completed.  You will receive a Financial Aid Notification in your message center if you are eligible for summer financial aid.

  • Under the YRP program, this student could receive an additional 50% ($3,448) for the summer semester if they enrolled full-time (12 credits).
  • If the student enrolls half-time (six credits) summer semester, they would receive 25% ($1,724) Federal Pell Grant for summer.
